New President for Mitsubishi Electric AutomationScott Summerville has been named new President of Mitsubishi Electric Automation, filling the position formerly held by Toshio Kawai.

The new MEAU’s no.1 by leveraging strategies to grow revenue and market share across all business segments as well as to define the company’s future vision and develop and deploy operational and growth strategies.

Summerville has more than 30 years of experience in the industrial automation industry, in important companies like Rockwell Automation, where he spent most of his professional career in strategic positions like President of the Asia Pacific region (2003-2008), and Omron Microscan, of which he has been the President since 2011.

He has degrees in Environmental Design from Miami University, Ohio, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Illinois.
