Gefran has recently announced the implementation of significant enhancements of the range of Melt transducers and pressure transmitters, in the name of safety and environmental sustainability.
The new Melt sensors belong to two macro-types, based on the technology used: fluid-free thanks to the silicon piezoresistance, and with filling fluid, thanks to the strain gauge technology.
There are 4 designs available: rigid rod, flexible sheath, flexible with thermocouple, and exposed capillary. These differentiations allow installation in any context, both in traditional extrusion plants and in potentially explosive areas.
